Magnify Your Office
Have you ever paused to reflect on the unique gift within you that you might have overlooked? It could be a remarkable ability that has accompanied you throughout your life—something you’ve taken for granted and yet holds great significance.
These gifts, often referred to as abilities or talents, are inherently yours. God bestowed something in you at birth, while other abilities are awakened when you experience spiritual rebirth or are filled with the Spirit. As you journey through spiritual maturity, God will unlock even more of these abilities.
Don’t reduce these abilities to mere traits of your personality. Understand that they are divine gifts from God, intentionally placed within you. Acknowledge their importance and express gratitude for them. Avoid downplaying your gifts by saying, “Oh, that’s just me; it’s really nothing.”
If God placed this gift inside you, then it is anything but insignificant. Treat it with the reverence it deserves. Embrace your gifts, nurture them, and allow them to flourish. The Apostle Paul exemplified this in Romans 11:13 when he said, “I preach to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles. I will magnify my office.” Paul recognized the gifts he was born with, received more when he met Jesus, and continued to grow in them through his spiritual journey.
So, step into your purpose. Embrace your abilities and magnify them. Recognize your gifts as your calling, and honor what God has given you. You have been chosen, graced, and called to showcase your talents in His name and for His Kingdom. Your abilities are divinely anointed; magnify your office today and let the world see the greatness God placed within you that glorify Him.
