Know Your Limits

Know Your Limits

The Promised Land was God’s gift to His children. He had no limits on getting them there, and no limits on taking care of them while they journeyed. But it was their unbelief in His capacity that limited God’s ability to bless them.

How much do we limit our unlimited God? Sometimes we think He may not care about our tiny little human problems, so we don’t rely on Him. Maybe we just don’t trustA fighter jet soaring to the heavens Him to take care of it…or take care of it the way we want. Sometimes we don’t think we are worthy, so we don’t ask. We limit God when we choose to disobey, refuse to forgive, or murmur, grumble, and complain. And sometimes, we are simply ignorant.

But God has NO limits; He can do anything, anywhere, anytime, and in any way. And He does. And He wants to. He sent bread from the heavens and quail from distant lands. He provided money from a fish’s mouth. He gave favor to Joseph as a slave. And sent an angel to take care of Elisha when he was on the run. God our Father provides. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord Will Provide.

He has no limit. There are no restrictions on what He can do. The limitations on what God can and will do for us, comes from us. So, check yourself and see where you are limiting God to work in your life.
